STP has been a necessary piece of the example of overcoming adversity of TeknoSport and there are different explanations behind which there is a need to proceed with the STP. They are enrolled beneath: †¢Rigorous preparing before hands on preparing †STP takes the new representatives through a thorough multi day plan, adjusting them to the aptitudes which separates a STP salespersons from the rest †¢Holistic preparing †STP consolidates the aggregated learning of different salespersons over such huge numbers of years. This would not be given by a mate framework where degree is restricted to only one coach †¢Training of long time deals work force †Currently, there are no projects set up which would prepare the long time deals staff with the new items, new strategy and new correspondence frameworks set up. Disposal of STP would bargain the nature of our business work force just as their fulfillment levels and this will undoubtedly majorly affect our market position. Blue Mountains, Sydney, Australia This is the view from the top of The Three Sisters in the Blue Mountains of Sydney, Australia.   The Three Sisters are a set of three large rock formations.   You cant see the rocks in this photo, but they are just to the right of me.   The hike trail involves 900 steps, leading to a river at the bottom.   The view is definitely worth the climb! Santa Monica Pier, California This is my favorite destination to run to when I jog around my neighborhood.   Santa Monica Pier is usually packed with tourists, but the walk and bike paths are pretty serene in the mornings.   Ive had the luxury of traveling a lot in the past years, and for my last summer before I move to New York, Ive tried to spend as much time as I can relishing unique aspects I love about living in Los Angeles. Once I move to NYC I will most sorely miss the warm ocean breezes and and the ability to run freely outside in sunny weather! Holly Sue Hatfield, an incoming MPA-DP student. Lindon, UT:   Im the youngest of 8 kids, and I have 44 nieces and nephews; 36 of them are under the age of ten and 38 of the grandkids are girls   (ergo the creation of the Princess Festival).   Its utter insanity.   When family gets together, though, theres one thing we can count on my 63 year-old dad giving his full attention to the kids.   Here he is playing volleyball with a bunch of 5 year-old girls who have no idea what volleyball is or how it is played so theyre all standing there cluelessly.   But if you look closely, youll see the best part of the picture: dads casually wearing a headband with cat ears.   Nobody knows why. Somewhere around Nakuru, Kenya Im kind of afraid of birds.   So at this rest-stop park in Kenya, my dad dared me to try and touch one of these crazy big birds.   You can see me in the red dress trying to sneak up on them; I never even get close (ha ha).   Im sure the Kenyans in the park were as intrigued with the muzungu girl tiptoeing around as I was with the creepy birds.

What I have leant from each module; negotiation, mediation, policy analysis, crisis game, and speech training, can be elaborated as follows. Negotiation The negotiation skills workshop gave me both theoretical and pragmatic skills in negotiation. Beginning with informal multilateral negotiation in groups was a good way to start and break the ice among participants. This was really obvious in the activity of multilateral negotiations on negotiating intervention in a civil conflict where I played Iraq. I found that Iraq shared a lot in common with the Arab states, especially Iran on the Syrian issues. Balancing interests in the negotiation through the Arab countries helped Iraq protect its interests. Without speaking much, but allying very well with Iran and balancing the interests wit h the Arab states, it turned out that I gained the highest score in my group. However, there was one thing I found quite unrealistic about this activity. That was the rule on unanimous agreement. I do not think this can be applied in the real world situation. I think that it would be better if we do not need to stick on this. The unanimous rule made some players concede too much, and that did not reflect real international negotiations. The role play on Six-party talks was both fun and useful. This role play gave me a chance to practice more skills on negotiation and chairing. This activity really showed the difficulties of negotiations on issues that are really critical to national survival. The North Korean issue was very

An Important Component Of A Student Counselor - 798 Words

An important component of a student counselor is having awareness for the client’s needs. In some cases to fully comprehend the needs of the client, one may need to gain knowledge about the client. Gaining this knowledge shows the client that the counselor is component and concern with their needs. As counselors we are to be committed to providing services to the client, even if the therapist and client come from different backgrounds. Student counselors are not to judge the client lives based on what they see or they think have the client all â€Å"figured out†. Counselors should volunteer to show commitment to providing services to the client. As a student counselor I decided to volunteer at Haven Women’s Shelter. Haven- Oakland provides services to women and their children who suffer from domestic violence and sexual abuse. Haven provides shelter, prevention education and professional development services. Haven also provides youth intervention to promote safe and healthy relationships. As a student counselor I chose this population because I believe they are misunderstood. I have my own misunderstandings about the population and wanted to gain more knowledge to better provide service to this population in the future. Engaging Colleagues Assignment Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 250 words

Engaging Colleagues - Assignment Example Most basic techniques of regression and analysis of variance are not completely understood or used appropriately (Judd, 1995). I can assume that I’m not alone facing this problem, my colleagues must also face this and I’m guessing like me, many opted statistics to get over the math-phobia. One strategy would be if a teacher could help explain the most common tactics that can used as tools to make sense of the data analysis quickly. The quicker we make sense of the data analysis the better. It is obvious that the majority finds complex reports very boring and they require stamina and perseverance in comprehending reports. The manners of presenting the data count a lot and findings can be significantly enhanced in the presentation on the data (www.ori.dhhs.gov). Whether there is a gun to my head or not, there are certainly some of the reports that I do find interesting. Any report on patient psychology triggers curiosity and I love to comprehend and learn new things in the report, having said that, I would never read complex reports out of my own desire. There is simply no point if students cannot simply understand what the report wants to tell them. Most of us are wrongfully lead to believe that numbers are unquestionably correct (Helberg, 1995), which is one of the reasons why people hesitate in questioning them. There should be little bit of coaching on how to speedily analyze the data. For instance, there can be a time limit given to the students and colleagues to practice with and special instructions, so that when they will read complex reports they will only look for things that are absolutely necessary, otherwise known as clearing the word noise and getting to the

Wired LAN network uses cable to connect to all the computers which would like to join the network and the main device called a switch. The wireless however uses radio waves to connect with other clients. Comparison between LAN and WAN Network Architectures There are many differences between LAN and WAN networks, the table displayed below compares the many differences between these two everyday networks. Differences LAN WAN Speed Higher(1000mbps) Lower(150mbps) Owners Owned and controlled by only one user, organization or server Not owned by anyone or any organization Set up costs Set-up costs are low as the devices are low-cost Set-up cost is higher then LAN as the there will be a monthly payment for connection, some connections are free as they are provided by companies Data transfer rate Higher then WAN Lower then LAN Components Use hubs, repeaters, bridges and switches Use router, frame relay switches and multilayer switches Connection Telephone lines and radio waves Often connect trough public networks example telephone lines, leased lines, satellite Maintenance LAN network encounters fewer problems as there are few systems to deal with. Maintenance is easy, faster and cheaper than WAN More errors are encountered in WAN as there are many systems that are at work. Maintenance is harder, slower and tends to be more expensive then LAN Geographical Area LAN covers an area which is within 100meters in length WAN covers a geographical area which is more than 100meters in length Bandwidth High bandwidth then WAN is accessible Low bandwidth is accessible Technical Area of LAN and WAN Network Architectures LAN: How LAN connects LAN has both wired and wireless methods to connect to each other, most LAN networks have a cable running from every computer to a wall jack. The wall jack is connected to a very similar type of cable that runs to a patch panel in a wiring closet. A patch panel is simply cable ports that allow all of the cables coming out of each wall jack to be connected to the LAN freely. Any active wall jack must have the matching port in the patch panel connected to a switch in the wiring closet. A wiring closet is small room or area where all of the wires connect and a building that uses computer networking will have more than one of these wiring closets placed in them, these wiring closets are mainly used for LAN networking. If there are many switches in a wiring closet, they are connected to one or two switches within in the same closet. These serve to connect all of the switches there as well as some of the cable runs entering the room. The switches in a wiring closet are connected to a switch pair in a main wiring closet. The switch pair helps to connect the entire LAN together. These distribution switches connect to the routers that helps the network travel further, connect the switches to the internet or the WAN thus extending the LAN.C:UsersuserDownloadsLANArchitectureDiag1.jpeg LAN Network: Cabling or Wired network Coaxial cable Cable is a medium in where information flows freely from one network device to next and then the next. In a LAN network there are many different types of cables used to connect the devices and computers in it, in the early LAN cabling system LAN used various versions of the coaxial cable. These cables are hard to install and are highly resistant to signal interference. They have a single central solid wire that symmetrically surrounded by a braided or foil conductor. Between the center wire and foil there is the insulation wire and then comes the copper mesh and the outer insulator.C:UsersuserDownloadscoaxla.gif Twisted-pair cable A twisted-pair cable is a cable that is made with an interesting technique, by intertwining the two separate insulated cables together with a certain color code, by doing this process it helps blocking out the electromagnetic interference EMI that could cause problems in the information sent through it. This cable is also the most widely used cable or the most suitable one for LAN networks. There are two different types of twisted pair cable unshielded twisted-pair UTP and shielded twisted-pair STP, the difference is that the STP has a fine wire mesh that surrounds the wire to protect transmissions while the UTP does not, and this is why the UTP is more sensitive than the STP. The STP can also extend to maximum distances and can withstand most environments. This cable was used in IBMs Token Ring in LAN implementation. C:UsersuserDownloadsutp and stp.jpg Fiber Optic cable Fiber optic cable is a the latest version of a LAN cable since the twisted-pair cable, this cable consists of tiny hair like fiber optic glass tubes that transmit the data which is protected by several layers of protective material called Kevlar. These hair like glass tubes transmit information or data with light signals rather than electronic signals, with this design and technology he fiber optic cable eliminates electrical interference, the cable is also known for its immunity to the effects of moisture and lightning which makes it ideal for network connections between buildings. This cable has the ability to transmit signals faster and further then both the coaxial and twisted-pair cable. However there are several disadvantages of the cable, which are the cable is more difficult to install and more costly than both the twisted-pair cable and the coaxial cable.C:UsersuserDownloadsFiber-Cable.jpg LAN Network Topology Network topology is the way they are assembled in which the network of computers and devices connect, each of this topology are used for a specific task and have their own advantages and disadvantages. The computers or users in a network topology are called nodes. Most network topology use a cable as a medium. Bus Topology The bus network topology is the simplest way to connect with multiple nodes, the bus has a single main cable that connects to other nodes, this main cable is also known as the backbone. Each node is connected one right after the other along the backbone, data or information that is sent from a node goes through the backbone until it reaches its receiving node, if an information or data sent such as an email does not reaches the receiving node it will be sent to the terminator which deletes the email completely. The bus is commonly used for implementing Ethernet at 10mbps.C:UsersuserDownloadsbus_topology.gif Advantages Disadvantages Easy to connect to computer or peripheral Backbone breaks entire system shutdown Requires less cable length then star topology Troubleshooting is difficult Ring Topology The ring network is a network topology where each node connects to two other nodes beside it forming a circle or ring and a single continuous link, the nodes are then connected to a main node or the first node. In the network information is passed from one node to the other, which means that a node acts as both the receiver and sender.C:UsersuserDownloadsRING_Topology.png Advantages Disadvantages Easy to wire and install If one node fails entire system fails Troubleshooting is difficult when the entire network fails. Star Topology Star topology is the most common network topology used, unlike the previous topology network the star has a hub or switch in its center, which acts as a conduit that transmits information through the network. Every device in the network is connected to the hub. The hub does not preform filtering or routing type tasks.C:UsersuserDownloadsfigure2.jpg Advantages Disadvantages Easy to modify and add new computers to network without shutting down network Requires more cable then bus and ring topology If one node fails the rest of the network will still function If the hub or switch goes fails the entire network fails Troubleshooting is easy More expensive WAN: NSP NSP also known as network service provider is an organization that does business by selling bandwidth or access to networks such as the internet by providing the backbone access to the internet itself as such the NSP is sometimes referred to or also known as backbone providers or internet providers. WAN network uses NSP to connect to other networks around the world and this is how, by connecting the NSP of other WANs together using links at Internet Packet Interchanges a global communication infrastructure is formed, these interchanges are also called peering points. The NSPs do not generally handle individual customer accounts except for the major corporate customers, but instead deal with intermediate organizations that they can charge for high capacity communications. They generally have an agreement to exchange certain volumes of data at a certain quality of service with other NSPs. So practically any NSP can reach any other NSP, but may require the use of one or more other NSP n etworks to reach the required destination. NSPs vary in terms of the transit delay, transmission rate, and connectivity offered.C:UsersuserDownloadswan.gif WAN: Dial-up access Dial-up internet is a connection which is made by the modem that is built in your computer and through a standard telephones line, by running by running the telephone line to the modem the computer can connect to the internet. This dialing must be done with a specific phone number. The dial-up system is a method that has been the thing of the past as it tends to take a long time to establish a connection with the internet, when it does the internet speed will be very slow. DSL DSL or dial subscribe line is a family of technologies that provide internet access by transmitting data by using the local telephone lines. POTS or better known as Plain Old Telephone Service One, POTS makes the most of the telephone companys wires and equipment is by limiting the frequencies that the switches, telephones and other equipment will carry. Human voices, speaking in normal conversational tones, can be carried in a frequency range of 0 to 3,400 Hertz cycles per second  for a great demonstration of this. This range of frequencies is tiny. These telephone lines are connected by copper wires to each home. Wi-Fi Wi-Fi is a wireless modem that allows a computer to connect to the internet. Wi-Fi can be less secure then the cable connections as bad weather or any other electrical interferences could damage the connection. Wi-Fi has adopted various encryption technologies. The early encryption  WEP, proved easy to break. Higher quality protocols WPA, WPA2 were added later. An optional feature added in 2007, called  Wi-Fi Protected Setup or  WPS, had a serious flaw that allowed an attacker to recover the routers password. Slow speed technology High speed technology Dial-up access uses a modem built in the computer that connects to the telephone line in the house to connect to the internet Cable modem, DSL, WI-FI and satellite modems Connection must be switched on when computer is turned on Connection is always on, when computer is running C:UsersuserDownloadsWAN-network.gif Critical Comments and Analysis This assignment has been a very interesting experience, not only have I learned a lot more regarding aspects of the Internet Applications module but it has also improved my understanding regarding various issues related to Wan and Lan network architectures. Ive come to understand that fundamental difference between them especially in the ways they function, and also in the way to set them up. Lan and Wan are two different networks architectures that are built to serve various users types and will come to play a very fundamental role as the world of information technology develops further. Conclusions The conclusion is, that LAN and WAN is two different networks yet both are just as important, these networks are used every day by everyday people like us. We use them to gather information and communicate with each other. This technology has helped develop our community and will continue developing it.

Shakespeare’s Hamlet: A Conflicted Demonstration

Though Claudia also upset this order by murdering King Hamlet), for Hamlet to even consider killing Claudia, he crosses a moral taboo. Furthermore, when the ghost charges Hamlet to ‘Revenge his foul and most unnatural murder' and Hamlet accepts, replying ‘Haste me to Knott, that I with wings as swift/ As meditation or the thoughts of love/ May sweep to my revenge', he once again disregards the Christian value system that asserts Judgment and punishment to be only the right of God, and not of man.Hamlets only redeeming action, Is that after contemplating ‘To be, or not to be', he does not inevitably commit suicide: a death denied Christian burial. Secondly a sense of right and wrong can be derived from common sense, logic and the conscience. In this regard, Hamlet displays no moral integrity, as he firstly used Aphelia by displaying to her a faked ‘antic disposition' (ACTA, Sac. To which she was ‘so freighted' (ACTA, SSL) before allowing her to believe th at her love had been betrayed when he stated ‘I love you not' to her reply, ‘l was the more deceived' (Act, SSL After this, when given the opportunity to kill Polonium, ‘Now I might do it pat' he refrains because the victim ‘now a is a-praying' and the murder then would send him o heaven'. He shows no mercy, deciding to Walt till later when he is behaving In a way ‘That has no relish of salvation Inner choosing then to trip him that his heels may kick at heaven,] And that his soul may be damned and black,' As hell whereto It goes†¦ (ACTA, IS). It is possible however, that this example of postponing the revenge is an indication that Hamlet was perhaps reluctant, and did not truly wish to kill him. This indication of repressed guilt is also shown in ACTA Scenes where Hamlet states ‘†¦ I am myself indifferent honest, but yet I could accuse me of such things, that it ere better my mother had not borne me. I am very proud, revengeful, ambitio us, with more offences at my beck than I have thoughts to put them in, imagination to give them shape, or time to act them in'.Finally, a Judgment of moral integrity can take place when witnessing Hamlet's response to local laws. In this he varied. By Hamlet deciding to take Claudia' life In exchange for his fathers, he was following the pagan value systems of the era which accepted an ‘eye for an eye'. However, on discovering that Guilelessness and be struck off (ACTA, IS), he stole the commission, and illegally replaced it with a copy harming that Without debasement further, more, or less,] He should those bearers put to sudden death,] Not shriving time allowed'.Despite the action saving his life, Hamlet both broke a law, and ensured the death of those who once were his friends. Therefore, though it appears Hamlet believed he must extract his revenge, and at times showed unwillingness to do so, by this action and the behavior he used to carry it out Hamlet betrayed the relig ious rules, logic, common sense, conscience and law of the Elizabethan era, Hamlet displayed an at best conflicted, and at worst absent moral integrity.

Hermes The God of All Communication Essay - 850 Words

Mythology was something that every Grecian incorporated into their everyday life. Myths were told to everyone it was said to be a type of social control. A myth could be described as a common day fable to inspire, teach lessons, and give faith to every Greek that needed something to believe in. Greek mythology became a type of religion to the polytheistic Greeks. They had a god for every aspect of life, love, weather, music, and communication. Greek mythology was â€Å"devoted to the deeds of divinities and heroes in the already constituted world† (Buxton 44). Divinities could be referred to as the Gods and heroes, who were often somewhat mortal. The gods were said to live on Mt. Olympus, which can be referred to as a type of heaven. Mortals†¦show more content†¦In myth is was said that once Hermes learned the path to the underworld he was asked by Hades, lord of the underworld to be his Herald as well, he was to lead departed souls to the underworld and was then name d herald of the dead it was said that â€Å"In this guise he was known as Hermes Psycopompos (soul leader), and he was the only god, besides Persephone and Hades, who could cross into the land of the dead and out again† (Cavendish 670). Hermes was very important in many Greek myths; he would often do the bidding of Zeus. One of his most famous appearances took place in the myth, the odyssey. He actually saved the Greek hero twice throughout the story. In one situation while Odysseus is captured by Cyclopes Hermes convinces him to let Odysseus go, it states â€Å" Zeus made me come; and not my inclination; who cares to cross the tract of desolation; the bitter sea, all mortal towns behind where gods have beef and honors from mankind? But it is not to be thought of –and no use-for any god to elude the will of Zeus,† (Homer Book V, 104). Another time in the story Odysseus has a flashback of when Circe had turned half of his crew into pigs, using the packet of herbs Hermes had provided him he was able to resist being turned into a pig and convinces Circe to free his men.
